A cleansing diet may produce unpleasant side effects. When undertaking a cleansing diet, your body will crave all the junk foods you have ever eaten. You will have strong urges to eat sweet foods and fatty foods. It could produce headaches, fatigue, nausea, depression, gas and bloating. One very common side effect when cleansing the body is a general overall bad feeling. If you are not prepared mentally for the unpleasant side effects, you will want to toss in the towel and give up all together because you will convince yourself that the cleanse is making you sick.
